1. Acknowledgement and acceptance of terms

Bikeboard North America, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees (collectively, “Bikeboard North America”) is committed to protecting its customers’ privacy. This Privacy Statement (“Statement”) sets forth Bikeboard North America’s current privacy practices with regard to the information it collects when you (the “User”) or User’s computer interacts with Bikeboard North America’s website.  By accessing Bikeboard North America, www.swissbikeboard.com, www. swissbikeboard.us, User acknowledges and fully understands this Statement and freely consents to the information collection and use practices described in this Statement.


2. Participating Merchant Policies

Related services and offerings with links from this website, including vendor sites, have their own privacy statements that can be viewed by clicking on the corresponding links within each respective website.  Bikeboard North America has no control over the services, offerings or privacy practices of any third party and disclaims responsibility for all such practices of those vendors and other third-party sites.   

3. Information We Collect and How We Use It

Bikeboard North America collects certain information from and about its users three ways: directly from its Web Server logs, the user, and with Cookies.

a.   Web Server Logs.

When User visits Bikeboard North America’s Website, it may track information to administer the site and analyze its usage. Examples of information it may track include:
  • User’s Internet protocol address.
  • The kind of browser or computer User uses.
  • Number of links User clicks within the site.
  • State or country from which User accessed the site.
  • Date and time of the visit.
  • Name of User’s Internet service provider.
  • Web page User linked to the site from.
  • Pages User viewed on the site.


b.   Personal Information Users  

Visitors to Bikeboard North America’s website can register to purchase products.  When User registers, Bikeboard North America will request some personal information such as name, address, email, telephone number or facsimile number, account number and other relevant information.  If User is purchasing products, Bikeboard North America will request financial information. (All such personal and financial information is hereinafter referred to as “personally identifiable information.”) Any financial information Bikeboard North America collects is used only to bill User for the products User purchased.  If User purchases by credit card, this information may be forwarded to User’s credit card provider. For other types of registrations, Bikeboard North America will ask for the relevant information. User may also be asked to disclose personally identifiable information to Bikeboard North America so that it can provide assistance and information to User. For example, such data may be warranted in order to provide online technical support and troubleshooting.

Bikeboard North America will not disclose personally identifiable information it collects from Users to third parties without User’s permission except to the extent necessary including:
  • To fulfill User service requests for services.  
  • To protect Bikeboard North America from liability,
  • To respond to legal process or comply with law, or
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or liquidation of the company,
  • In sharing aggregate data with third parties to determine demographics and purchasing habits of Bikeboard North America customers.  (PLEASE NOTE: No personally identifiable information will be released for this purpose.)

We might also use personally identifiable information provider by User to send User information, such as product or service updates. If Users do not wish to receive such information they should contact Bikeboard North America by e-mail at support@swissbikeboard.com.

4. Accessing Web Account Information

Bikeboard North America will provide User with the means to ensure that personally identifiable information in Users web account file is correct and current.  User may review this information by login in on Bikeboard North America’s website as a member, and/or sending an email to its support attendant at support@swissbikeboard.com or calling (480) 657 6200.


5. Changes to this Statement

Bikeboard North America has the right to occasionally update this privacy statement in its sole discretion.  When Bikeboard North America does, it will also revise the “updated” date at the top of this Privacy page.  Bikeboard North America encourages Users to periodically review this privacy statement to stay informed about how Bikeboard North America is helping to protect the personal information it collects.  Continued use of the service constitutes agreement by User with this Statement and any updates.
